Position DescriptionJob Summary: The Roller Operator performs the safe and efficient operation of motorized compaction equipment to bring soil, aggregate, and hot mix asphalt to density specifications.Essential Functions:Understand the compaction processPerform periodic field maintenance including cleaning and minor repairsDemonstrate constant awareness of co-workers and equipment in the work zoneOperate equipment safely and efficientlyProfessional and courteous attitude toward customers, co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times Position RequirementsRequirements, Education and Experience:3 years of highway paving experience, preferred5 years of roller operator experience, preferredKnowledge of rolling patters and compaction ratesProficient verbal and written English communication skillsValid driver's license OSHA Card preferredLegal right to work in the U.S.Available for variable shifts including day, night, weekends, and overtimeOther Duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
