Utilize your human services experience as you aid children with mental health difficulties and their families in the Western Massachusetts community!Become a part of our team of competent and compassionate professionals as the Outreach Worker in our Intensive Home Based Therapeutic Care Program at Behavioral Health Network!As an outreach worker in the Intensive Home Based Therapeutic Care Program you will get to work directly with youth and their caregivers in the Pioneer Valley and Hampden County. This position will provide direct intervention and supports in the community to the youth and family while working closely with Child and Family therapist as a team.The Outreach Worker is responsible for nurturing and supporting family engagement, providing life skills coaching, and assisting youth and families with achieving individualized treatment goals. The qualified candidate will also provide advocacy in the areas of health, education, vocation, and legal needs as well as family intervention. The Outreach Worker will need to be skilled in collaborating with the Family Team and state agencies. Successful Outreach Worker candidates will have two years' experience working with children and families.Behavioral Health Network is a growing non-profit community behavioral health agency that has been providing services to children, adults, families and communities in Western Massachusetts since 1938.   • Two years of experience working with children and families.
  • Ability to create and implement strategies to facilitate achievement of agreed upon goals.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
