*Job Description: *
The HR Admin reports directly to the Head of HR and the Executive Administrator. The HR Admin will be a point of contact to employees and external partners for all HR related queries, as well as maintaining onsite administrative processes. An HR administrator is responsible for a wide range of duties, including helping with daily HR tasks such as resolving employee issues, performance and training, labor relations, administering employment, implementing benefits, organizational development, managing confidential HR data, maintaining HR data systems, handling employee documentation, including contracts, recruitment paperwork and starter packs. The HR Admin will also be responsible for helping the facility maintain adequate administrative processes and supporting the Cultivation & Processing teams with tasks such as: receiving deliveries, managing consumables inventory, maintaining community spaces, and general office management.

*Responsibilities Include but may not be limited to: *
* Forming and maintaining employee records; making available to authorized personnel when requested.
* Supports human resources department by screening, testing, interviewing, and extending approved offers to applicants
* Provides digital orientation for new employees by providing information packets, reviewing company policies, creating employee accounts, assisting in providing employee technologies, explaining benefit programs, registering & tracking new hire onboarding/ training progress, distributing company materials (i.e. swag, badge), and obtaining signatures for documents.
* Maintains human resources records for employees by recording the hiring, transfer, termination, change in job classifications, and merit increase dates as well as tracking vacation, sick, and personal time.
* Preparing and amending where necessary HR documents, i.e. employment contracts and recruitment guides
* Reviewing and renewing company policies and legal compliance
* Being a trusted point of contact for employees on any HR related queries, such as incident & harassment reports
* Assisting the department with updating databases internally, such as payroll needs, and employee info.
* Helping with various arrangements internally, from travel to processing expenses
* Take an active part in HR projects, such as job fairs, recruitments rounds, infographics, and more
* Assisting in the setup of company events, such as company parties and volunteer opportunities
* Checking site visitors in and out of site
* Communicating with facility vendors & providers for scheduling, maintenance, and deliveries
* Managing Administrative duties such as answering the phone, monitoring general correspondence from outside the facility, checking the mail and post office box, communicating inefficiencies to upper management and implementing solutions, and maintaining adequate office/paperwork organization

* Staying up-to-date on laws, compliance, and regulation that pertains to employment laws and the cannabis industry
* Consumable Inventory Management and Purchasing
* Supporting the Cultivation & Processing Staff as directed by the VP of Cultivation & Director of Processing

*Minimal Qualifications: *
* Must pass a CORI background check and be willing to submit personal information to become a licensed state agent.
* Able to adapt to changing priorities
* Must possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to interact with team members and senior support personnel
* Able to initiate and follow through on work independently
* Able to train staff
* Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Able to maintain confidentiality.
* Decisive, with the ability to exercise independent judgment.
* Detail-oriented.
* Professional demeanor, strong work ethic.
* SHRM Certifications, SHRM Knowledge base, or Associate's Degree in Business Administration Preferred

* Cannabis Administrative or Cannabis HR Experience Preferred
* Strong Computer Skills, Open to and Capable of Learning Different Softwares to Facilitate Responsibilities

*Physical and Environmental Requirements: *
* Able to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout the workday.
* Able and willing to work in the following conditions:
* General office environment
* Extended computer usage, phone usage, including teleconferences

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
