Why this job is amazing:
Working at RFK Community Alliance means making a real impact in the
world around us. When you work with us:
That's where you come in!
Join our team of caring and compassionate professionals that work
in our South Hadley Girls Treatment Program. Our program provides
adolescent girls with the educational, life skills, therapeutic,
recreational, and support services needed to improve their
behavior. The ultimate goal is for these girls to return home and
back to their communities. Residents attend high school classes or
GED courses and participate in a curriculum designed to impart new
life skills to enable them to make healthier choices when
re-entering their communities. Therapeutic services focus on
helping each young woman develop strategies to increase coping
skills and promote positive decision-making.
We need you to play a vital role in providing daily therapeutic
support and guidance for adolescents so they can achieve the
highest level of independence. Every day, you will have the
opportunity to see the positive results of the work you do. You
will develop and maintain strong therapeutic relationships,
coordinate and supervise therapeutic activity groups, demonstrate
exceptional verbal intervention skills, and will effectively
implement individual client treatment plans. You will also provide
exceptional and consistent client supervision.
