All the guys have been there 5+ years + and some 20-30 years. -Relaxed and laid back environment, no one is micromanaging you. -Benefits once perm, standard competitive package. Their fiscal year is Apr 1 to March 31, so June there is the potential for bonus based on yearly performance. -Yearly performance reviews in Jan/Feb for potential merit increase based on performance.-Purely a machine shop, not a lot of upward mobility for position, but pay yes.Description:Looking for a Lathe or Milling Machinist on 2nd shift. The company works with engineered graphite, so industry experience doesn't necessarily matter, but something regulated preferred. Aerospace or steel likely. DAILY BASIS:-Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines. Future state will be programming, not necessary now but maybe some light edits.-In process, manual inspections with mics, calipers, gauges, etc. The machinists do full in-process inspections which then go to Final Inspection Dept. before shipping.-Reading blueprints to determine part specs. -Will be changing out tooling, fixtures, inserts, holders and managing offsets and feed time.-Maintaining some preventative maintenance of the machine.-Working within centimeters, not the tightest tolerances, but attention to detail is key.-Could be working on part the size of a desk, or as small as a pen cap.-Haas machines, fanuc controls.-Set up changes can be every day.-Most of our jobs are 1 to 100 pcs.Skills:Cnc, Lathe, Cnc machine, Blueprint, Machine set up, Set up machine, Cnc setup, Cnc lathe, Machining, lathe machine, lathe setup, lathe programming, inspectionTop Skills Details:
