Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Trinity Health Of New England has an exciting opportunity for a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our mission-driven specialized Rehab team at Mercy Medical Center -The Physical Therapist Assistant works in collaboration with the Physical Therapists and performs direct patient treatment and documentation referred to Physical TherapyWhat will you do

• Implements direct treatment program including using appropriate therapy material/equipment established by an RPT Monitors patient and modifies treatment programs in consultation with an RPT to meet the patient's changing needs as reflected in documentation.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with clients, families and staff
• Maintains effective verbal and written communication with physicians and other health care professionals by providing updated summaries and daily communication as neededRequirements:
  • Graduate of APTA accredited PTA program
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Highlights
