The Opportunity: The Hospital Integrated Research Organization
(HIRO) group at Mass General Brigham is looking for a talented and
highly motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our expanding team
supporting clinical research for multiple sponsored projects. As a
member of the team, you will work directly with the Director of
Data Science and Analytics, our group of skilled analysts and
engineers, and our clients to develop new insights from complex
data sets for improvements in healthcare treatment options and
other research questions. The focus of the Senior Data Scientist
will be to develop and refine algorithms to identify disease
phenotypes that will be used for research, clinical applications,
and beyond. Additional areas of focus may include Predictive Model
development and validation, using Natural Language Processing (NLP)
to extract information from complex data sets, and additional
machine learning algorithms.
