Job Description:
Prepares the bi-weekly computerized payroll, including the review of checks for distribution and payroll maintenance books and backup files. Maintains fiscal and time sheet files and benefit accruals on all employees. Updates and monitors database for running 403(b) contributions for all current employees, prepares bi-weekly 403(b) transmission and submits records to carrier. Audits year-end W-2 tax forms and year end reports and works with ADP for any revisions. Completes employment and salary verifications when requested by the Social Security Administration, financial institutions, housing authorities, attorneys, etc. . Minimum Qualifications: Associate's Degree in related field with three years payroll/accounting experience; or High school diploma or equivalent, with five years' experience working in an accounting department. Requires good computer including working knowledge of spreadsheets, word processing and data entry (including Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook), good organizational and time management skills; strong attention to detail.
