As a Readiness and Change Management Consultant, you will support the implementation of complex strategic initiatives that directly affect MassMutual s salesforce, comprised of nearly 20,000 advisors and support staff. This position will drive change and enhance adoption of our field and home office associates as we continue to differentiate ourselves in a dynamic insurance/finance landscape. As a nimble and creative collaborator, you will encompass perspectives from various senior leaders, business sponsors and program managers to formulate the best readiness and change activities to ensure deployment success. Your value to the field and home office will be derived from effective adoption and growth of various field & home office facing projects and initiatives. Daily and monthly responsibilities - What your days and weeks will include. * Being the subject matter expert on change management and readiness principles. * Being the field associates' advocate; through determining and driving decisions on readiness strategies and tactics that both meet the advisors needs and the business s interests. * Developing activities that gather field voice including input into decision-making, issue resolution, requirements, and pilot models. * Engaging appropriate field readiness resources (communication, training, marketing, etc.) and leading a cross-discipline team through all readiness activities. * Ensuring a consistent deployment experience by utilizing proven best practice and standards. * Creating and activating detailed plans. * Driving execution and providing regular status of planned activities. * Collaborating/coordinating on integration and sequencing of programs, messages, and activities between field and home office audiences. * Contributing to the continued improvement and definition of the team s readiness practice. * Contribute to the company wide roll out of A360. Required skills and qualifications - The qualifications that are needed for this role: * Bachelor s degree. * Utilize technology to improve process efficiency/productivity (i.e. Excel, Box, Skype, Microsoft Project). * Minimum 7 years of related experience. * Customer service skills and continuous service process improvement to look at improving our customers experience. * Ability to consult with business partners on readiness activities. * Ability to make recommendations, from a Divisional/cross-Divisional business perspective, while initiating and influencing decisions affecting organizational issues. * Ability to handle complex medium and large size broad scope projects with cross-organizational boundaries. * Ability to influence leaders on effective change strategies and strategic application of various communication and training tools * Ability to develop and articulate business insights through reviewing key metrics and data tied to readiness activities. * Ability to create and drive large scale project plans. * Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred qualifications - Additional skills that make you a great fit: * Master s degree. * Experience working in the financial services/insurance industry. * Knowledge of broker dealer operations. * Experience working with financial advisors. * Certified in ADKAR Change Management. * Comfort working with senior leadership levels. * Anticipates change and directs or redirects efforts. * Demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset. * Capable of applying knowledge to handle complex problems independently.
