Overview:One of our Construction clients in the Greater Springfield area is seeking a Construction Administrator / Bookkeeper to join their team. They are looking for someone with abackgroundideally in Construction, has 5+ of general Administrative skills and has prior experience with basic Accounting functions. This role will report directly to the Project Manager.Summary:Dynamic, family owned Western Massachusetts business seeking an a positive, outgoing, up for a variety of tasks individual who reports to a couple Managers depending on the task. Responsible for primarily Admin Assistant to a project manager with weekly Account Payable tasks. Expanding business with excellent compensation and benefits package.Responsibilities / Qualifications Desired: Petty Cash processing Preparing and entering disbursement information Processing payments to vendors Proper GL Coding to accounts and job Matching invoices with supporting documentation Speaking with vendors via email or phone regarding billing issues Attention to detail is a must Office admin work Assist Asbestos project manager with project closeouts and notifications May assist other areas of the company as needed Must Haves Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills Proven record of being proactive and implementing new processes and procedures Ability to manage priorities and take direction About Aston Carter:Aston Carter is a distinguished global provider of recruitment and staffing services to companies requiring highly specialized business professionals.
