Job Description:
Maximus is currently hiring a remote Associate Analyst-
Compliance to help support the California Health Professionals
Recovery Program.
THIS POSITION IS REMOTE IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collects and analyzes incoming data and reports from treatment
providers, facilities, participants and labs, worksite monitors,
support group facilitators, and other team members, and inputs
necessary information into the case management system and analyzes
the data to determine participant's level of compliance with the
Recovery Terms and Conditions Agreement
Develops remediation plan for the participant based on the
employee's judgment of the issue and level of noncompliance
Alerts the CCM regarding any issues of noncompliance or special
circumstances
Performs follow-up calls to clarify or initially respond to
non-compliance data from any of the above parties or contacts
participant for additional relevant information to finalize
compliance determination
Responds to incoming calls from participants regarding their
program participation, applicants regarding entry into the program,
and licensees regarding general program information Develops
positive relationships with program stakeholders, including the
Client, and the general public. Is able to accurately represent the
program purpose, requirements and philosophy to callers
Prepares participant Recovery Agreements, selecting appropriate
contract terms based on the participant's individual case history.
Responds to participant requests for materials, determines the
appropriate documentation to dispense based on the participant's
individual need, and arranges for mailing, faxing or emailing the
document(s)
Is responsible for maintaining familiarity with the contract
requirements and ensures time requirements are met in regard to
Recovery Program policies and procedures, and contract performance
requirements
Maintains compilation, production, and timely distribution of the
History and Profile (H&P) reports for submission to Clinical
Case Manager (CCM), Recovery Program Managers (DPMs) and Recovery
Evaluation Committee (DEC) members
Produces Monthly Compliance/Non-Compliance reports and letters
based on analysis of information received from participants,
worksite monitors, support group facilitators, laboratory, and
treatment providers
May draft and send letters of correspondence to participants and
other stakeholders
Engages in Recovery Program Quality Assurance and Quality Control
monitoring and evaluation
Is responsible for a workload that may fluctuate from day to day,
and must determine time required to complete tasks, prioritize
work, and arrange for help from coworkers when necessary to meet
deadlines with minimal supervision. May be asked by coworkers to
assist in the same manner
Meets all standards established for this position
Maintains confidentiality of personal health information and
ensures HIPAA requirements are met regarding all participant
records. If determination of HIPAA breach is made, reports it
immediately to management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in
Business, Behavioral Science, or related field
Three-to-five years of experience in a behavioral health care
setting related to chemical dependency, recovery, and/or mental
illness preferred - experience may be substituted for educational
requirement
Computer literacy
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal
communication skills
Position requires the ability to perform comfortably in a
fast-paced, deadline and detail-oriented work environment
Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks
simultaneously
Independent decision making ability within time constraints
Collect, organize, submit and analyze data related to participant
compliance with the Recovery Agreement
Work as a team member, as well as independently with minimal
supervision
MUST RESIDE IN CALIFORNIA

PAY TRANSPARENCY
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not
limited to a candidate's education, training, experience, expected
quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external

one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other
