Orion Talent, the nation's largest military recruiting firm, is currently recruiting transitioning or former military professionals for Field Service Electrician positions with a leading cleantech integrator and renewable energy asset developer, owner, and operator.

Position Details
Location: Springfield, MA
Compensation: $45-$50/hr depending on experience and is negotiable
Shift: This will be dayshift, M-F
Travel: There will be frequent regional travel, but 90% of the time you will be going home every night. Travel will consist of 10 miles East of Springfield MA and majority West of Springfield, MA to the NY border, but not in NY.

Position Description
As a Field Service Technician, your primary responsibility will be to install and perform preventative maintenance on the company's award-winning solar panels.

Position Requirements
--- Self-driven leader with a strong background in electrical installation/maintenance/troubleshooting.
--- The ideal fit for this role is a candidate with a background in industrial or commercial Solar Panel installation.
--- Journeyman's Electrician License for the state of MA is required.
--- Experience maintaining electrical/electronic industrial equipment.
--- Knowledge of Solar PV systems, their operation, and maintenance looks great.
--- Knowledge of electricity, voltage and current relationships for both AC and DC circuits.
--- OSHA training and certification is strongly preferred, not required.
--- NABCEP certification strongly preferred, not required.
--- Valid Driver's License.
