Job Description Locums - Neonatology - Inpatient - Schenectady, NY Why This Role? - Ongoing locums need with an immediate July and August start - Facility provides full travel coverage including hotel, mileage, and rental car - Well-supported team of pediatricians, RNs, lactation consultants, RTs, and social workers - Flexible 24-hour in-house and overnight beeper model Duration: Starting July 21 and ongoing Coverage Type: Inpatient Schedule: 24-hour shifts, 8 AM to 6 PM in-house and beeper call until 8 AM next day; spread over 1.5 weeks Clinical Details: - Level II Plus NICU with 15 beds and average daily census of 4.5 - May assist on mother-baby unit based on census (ADC 11) - Attend deliveries when requested - Documentation system: Cerner - Support team includes pediatricians, nursery nurses, lactation consultants, RTs, and social workers Requirements: - Board Certified in Neonatology - Active NY license - BLS - PALS - NALS - Clean history Skills Needed: - Level II NICU management and monitoring - Delivery attendance and neonatal resuscitation - Mother-baby rounding support - Collaborative work with pediatric and nursing staff
